About us

More than 130 years have passed since the founding of the Edelvives Publishing Group, and with renewed vigour it has expanded beyond national borders. That small publishing house, founded in Catalonia in the late 19th century, has grown to reach the other side of the ocean and establish itself in Mexico and Argentina. Today, with its sights set on the future, the group offers high-quality educational materials based on values, innovation and new technologies, whilst supporting the cultural development of children and adults through an excellent literary programme.

Fresh back from the 2026 Bologna Children’s Book Fair, we wanted to share the incredible energy we experienced this year. It’s been some days of intense meetings, catching up with colleagues, and, above all, a shared passion for stories that cross borders.

Beyond the business of rights, being in Bologna reminds us why we do what we do. Reading is a fundamental pillar for children and young people; it is the spark that ignites their imagination, helps them understand a complex world, and fosters the empathy needed to build a better future. By bringing these stories to different languages and cultures, we aren't just selling books—we are opening doors to new worlds for the next generation of readers."
