Frankfurt Book Fair 2024
One of the largest and most influential events in the world publishing industry is the Frankfurt Book Fair 2024, which takes place from 16 to 20 this year. Edelvives Group is present at the collective stand of the Spanish Publishers Guild Federation, Hall 5.0 Stand C 2.
On this occasion, Italy is the Guest of Honor. Edelvives has sold the rights to several works published in Italian, including Snow White illustrated by Francesca Dell'Orto, Anne of Green Gables, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Antonio Lorente, and Lilo by Inés Garland.
This 2024 we started working the Fair a few days before its opening by attending the masterclasses Revolutionising Audiobook Production with AI: Unlocking New Possibilities for the Publishing Industry by Kevin Oh, Co-founder and CEO SYNTHYA and Redefining Audio Production: Insights, Tools, and Trends for the Future of Publishing by Chris Kling from Klangkantine.
There is no doubt that Frankfurt is one of the key deal-making venues in international rights negotiations. Literary diversity remains a core value of representing various cultures, perspectives, and voices.
